LIFEGROUPS WINTER 2012
To create an atmosphere of unity and avoid misunderstanding, the following are shared values for the group to build upon. To participate in a group, each member needs to honor the shared values.
We agree to the following Values:
- Clear Purpose To grow healthy, spiritual lives by seeking God’s heart and encouraging each other.
- Group Attendance To give priority to the group meeting (I’ll call if I’m going to be absent or late.)
- Safe Environment To help create a safe place where people can be heard, encouraged and loved (no sarcasm, quick answers, snap judgments).
- CONFIDENTIAL Everything shared of a personal nature is strictly confidential and remains there.
- Spiritual Health I give permission and hold myself accountable to the group to help me live a healthy, balanced spiritual life for God.
- Welcome Newcomers To invite our friends who might benefit from the group & warmly welcome them.
- Building Relationships To get to know other members of the group & pray for them regularly. To avoid any monopolizing of discussions by a few members and to encourage others to participate.
